San Clemente is a small town an hour’s drive from San Antonio. It prides itself on its small town feel, historical sites and hospitality. The mysterious Mission Sin Nombre just outside town draws interested tourists from all over Texas, and San Clemente has been quick to capitalize on the opportunity.
However, urban development encroaches upon San Clemente and threatens its way of life. Older residents clash with the corporations seeking to tap the tourist market. New housing replaces grassland and forest areas. Expensive mansions take up space in the mountains – and rumors about the inhabitants are unsettling, to say the least. Fast food muscles out local diners and family businesses.

San Clemente is in a delicate transition period. The expansion plan isn’t just a regular cash grab – there is something dangerous going on behind the scenes. And the city itself is not so friendly or mundane as it might seem.
